Envirokut co-founder Larry Katzer demonstrates how to extend a Kommunal’s Fast 7 arm.

Last year, the South Carolina Department of Transportation liked the Energreen professional equipment it bought from Envirokut so much, that the SCDOT will be increasing its order to nearly 40 machines for 2019. Due to the enthusiastic response, Envirokut and Energreen America formed a strategic partnership, enabling our companies to deliver more machines to Departments of Transportation across the United States. Known for versatility and agility, Energreen Professional Machines are a safe, modern addition to your vegetation management fleet.

CalTrans and Envirokut have entered into a rental contract for three years, amounting to $3.1 million in new business. For this rental contract, we’re bringing in three Irish Multihogs, three Italian Kommunals, and a variety of German Mulag attachments. Maybe it’s the California sunshine. Maybe it’s Envirokut’s golden-green touch. Whatever the cause, we’re glad to be a conduit for European corporate rivals cooperating in the U.S. This customized state-wide contract gives CalTrans a chance to try out an array of equipment in different terrains. Fleet managers from any district can request to try the equipment using the following code: 56A0585.

Galabau
September 2018

From September 12 to 15, Envirokut founders Larry and Bob will attend the Galabau 2018 show in Nuremburg, Germany. The pair plan to look for creative new ways to customize the top-of-the-line vegetation and roadside maintenance machinery they import to the U.S. They’re also on the hunt for a rear-mounted bat wing mower for the Kommunal ILF 1000. As one of the world’s biggest exhibitions dedicated to landscaping, green design and gardening, Galabau is the perfect place to accomplish these goals — and to catch up on business with their friends at Energreen, Mulag, and Multihog.

SCDOT Contract
Nov. 2017

Envirokut signed a 3-year, 7-figure deal to sell 30 carriers with booms and implements to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. We're thrilled to be serving the communities that let us develop our customized solutions on their roadways, when we worked with Dixie Lawn Service.

CalTrans Contract
April 2017

From April 2017 to August 2018, we secured 7 contracts worth more than $500,000 with Caltrans, and additional contracts are on the way.  Caltrans has rented our Kommunal, Multihog, and ILF S1500 carriers, as well as the MFK 400 and MFK 500 booms by Mulag. We continue to offer Caltrans service and support; we are happy to report that the machines are well-liked and experience little downtime.
